Root for your favorite, cry when they die.
It's sick.

I finally realise why so many people dislike the ending of Mockingjay

Becase Katniss and Peeta’s perfect relationship was ruined. We lost our boy with the bread, and the girl on fire lost her spark. Finnick and Annie- we thought they would live hapily ever after but Finnick died, and never got to see his child. Katniss and Gale’s friendship disappeared entirely and Prim, who everyone loves, died. There was no “happy ending”, and let’s face it, we all want to a happy ending.

I think the ending was just perfect. Life isn’t fair, the ending was realistic. Do you actually think that they’d get a happy ending after everything they’ve gone through? It’s as happy as it’s possible, they got 2 kids, they have each other.. The losts were part of the trilogy. Did you think that they’d live happily ever after, that everybody will come back from the dead and they no longer have nightmares? You need to re-think. The trilogy would loose the meaning of the stroy if there would be a happy ending.

^THIS!

^^^ seriously.

Though Peeta and Katniss’s relationship was never perfect. Maybe it would be, but it was actually all for the Games at the beginning. Like always, their relationship had ups and downs.

But honestly, if you thought/hoped the trilogy was going to have a “happily ever after” ending, then these aren’t the right books for you.

#actually some people hated the ending because it was kind of abrupt
